In Sanskrit
they have a word they use as a greeting which is Namaste (pronounced namustay)
. Nanaste literally means " I celebrate in you the place where we
are one". In all ancient cultures of the world it was understood
that we are all one and the same by virtue of having a connection to the
same source. In Buddhist
understanding one of their primary tenants is that "separateness
is the grand illusion because we are all one". The fact that you
and I and everyone else looks separate in this physical dimension is a
misread of what is really going on. The understanding that we are comprised
on mind, body and spirit is generally accepted by all past and present
cultures. The Chinese and others hold that we are spirits within a physical
vehicle called our body. That our body is there just so we can experience
the human dimension and grow and evolve our true nature which is spiritual.
The latest research in Advanced Theoretical Physics and Non-Linear Dynamics
appears to confirm the concept that we are all one. In fact, as far as
can he determined, everything that the Chinese believed 5,000 years ago
whether spiritual or physical (non-local mind, dan tien is the center
of the body and represents another mind, that everything is energy, acupuncture,
the existence of the meridians, herbology and so much more) is being confirmed
by western science in last five to ten years. The chairman
of the physics department at UCLA, Berkley said last year that "the
discovery of non-local mind is the greatest discovery science has ever
made". Non-local mind has also been called the collective unconscious
by Carl Jung, Universal Mind, Supreme Intelligence and more. The Buddhists
are saying we are all connected to the same source of intelligence and
that there is no separation. In Advanced Theoretical Physics they are
saying that we are all connected to a central mind that represents an
intelligence outside of our local mind. An intelligence that everyone
on earth is connected to. They are also saying that this is true for each
species of the animal, fish and plant world. There have been countless
studies done to demonstrate the validity of this for many years. |
